“Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.” — Steve Jobs. Inspired by this thought, Sagar Public School, Katara Extension organised an enriching ASPIRE Session for the students of Classes XI and XII, featuring Mr. Mohit Nagpal, CEO of the Inclusive Technology Business Incubator (DST), UPES, and a distinguished mentor in India’s startup ecosystem. Drawing from his vast experience in entrepreneurship and innovation, Mr. Nagpal introduced students to the dynamic world of startups, highlighting how innovative ideas can be transformed into successful ventures. Through engaging real-life examples, he explained the importance of identifying market needs, creating value, building a competitive edge, and effectively pitching ideas to secure funding. He also encouraged students to think like entrepreneurs and assured them of guidance in pursuing promising startup ideas. The interactive session broadened students’ understanding of the startup ecosystem and inspired them to embrace creativity, innovation, and problem-solving as essential skills for the future. It was an enriching and thought-provoking experience that motivated young minds to dream big and turn ideas into impact.
