An ASPIRE Session by Dr. Priya Sharma from SMH @SPSKE
On 8th August 2025, a highly informative and interactive session was conducted for classes IV, V and VI, on the topic "Keeping Yourself Safe During the Monsoon Season." The session was taken by Dr. Priya Sharma, Consultant – Pediatrics Services (MBBS, MD) at Sagar Multispeciality Hospital. Dr. Sharma spoke extensively about various health precautions that children and adults should take during the monsoon season. The session ended with an engaging Q&A round where students actively participated and got their doubts clarified. Overall, it was an enriching and eye-opening session that helped students understand how simple lifestyle and hygiene practices can go a long way in keeping them safe and healthy during the monsoon.

Bagless Day observed by classes III-V @SPSKE
The young Sagarites at Sagar Public School Katara Extension, on August 8, 2025, observed a Bagless Day in school. It was a joyful and enriching experience for these young minds!\r\nThe classrooms lit up alive with a lot of fun-filled, activity-based learning across all subjects. From hands-on experiments to interactive games, from synonyms and antonyms to punctuation punches, to creative art integration, to learning Sanghya Sarvanam in Hindi— our students explored concepts in the most exciting ways possible! Yes!!! "No books, no bags, just smiles, laughter, and play! Students learned with fun and joy, in a brand new way." It was truly heartwarming to see our young learners so engaged and enthusiastic. On 31st July 2025, Sagar Public School, Katara Extension organized a Career Counselling Session for students of Classes XI and XII, in collaboration with Toprankers. The session was conducted by Mr. Avinashi Sharan, Director at Toprankers, an IIM-A alumnus and renowned career expert who has mentored over 50,000 students nationwide. Mr. Sharan offered deep insights into career opportunities after Class 12, with a special focus on competitive exams like IPM and CLAT. Today SPSKE buzzed with excitement as we welcomed a special cleanliness session by Nursing team from Sagar Multispeciality Hospital headed by Ms Violet Chatterjee the Deputy Nursing Superintendent. The session was designed to empower our young learners with the knowledge of hygiene, particularly the crucial act of handwashing. The session, brimming with interactive activities and engaging visuals, aimed to instil in the children the understanding that clean hands are their first line of defence against germs and illness. Parent Pulse held for Classes VI & VII
As part of our continued effort to strengthen the school-home partnership, an engaging Parent Pulse Programme was conducted for the parents of Classes VI and VII, today, 19 July, 2025. A major part of the session was dedicated to crucial topics such as emotional regulation and mental health of students; addressing behavioural concerns at home and school; identifying and managing adolescence issues; exploring different parenting styles and their influence; enhancing parent-child communication strategies; and building a nurturing and supportive environment for children’s growth.Parents actively engaged in discussions, shared experiences, and gained practical tips to support their child’s journey—emotionally, socially, and academically. Foundation Day and Investiture Ceremony
Sagar Public School, Katara Extension celebrated its Foundation day along with the much-awaited Investiture Ceremony on 1st of July, 2025. The event was graced by the Chief guest, Col Narendra Ola. The ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The highlight of the ceremony was the administration of the oath of office to the elected student council members. The Chief Guest gave away the badges to the student council office bearers. Meritorious students of Classes XI and XII were felicitated for their outstanding results in the 2024-25 session. The program also featured a classical dance performance and a melodious song by the school choir. PTM-I for the Session 2025-26
*Building a Strong Parent-Teacher Partnership*At Sagar Public School, Katara Extension, we believe that education is a collaborative journey between parents and teachers. This spirit of partnership was beautifully reflected during the Parents Teachers Meeting held on *Saturday, April 26, 2025*, for Classes Nursery to XII. The PTM saw active participation from parents, highlighting their dedication to their children’s education.
